Our humble beginnings from a small steel workshop in downtown Amman close to our customers right from the start, with a vision and committed direction to provide the highest quality products in the local market.
1965
JAMCO Group of Companies was established, helping us grow and diversify to a group of companies in the fields of aluminium, glass, ironmongery, structural steel, prefabricated buildings and plastic manufacturing.
1975
JAMCO Steel Buildings, previously known as Jordan Metal Works, is acknowledged as a 1st Grade Contractor for Structural Steel Works and Prefabricated Buildings.
1976
International Plastic Company was founded under JAMCO Group of companies to produce plastic components for the construction industry.
1980
JAMCO International Plastic became the main supplier of advanced irrigation systems by producing Low Density (LDPE) and High Density (HDPE) Polyethylene pipes.
1986
JAMCO International Plastic had produced enough pipes to circle the globe.
1990
Ventures into the production of medical IV bags as well as adding Cross-linked Polyethylene pipes (PEX) to the product line.
1996
The first company in Jordan to provide pre-engineered metal building systems licensed by PASCOE USA, providing global standard PEBs with the widest range of spans, eave heights, with the highest quality and efficient materials optimized to our clients’ needs.
2005
Development of structural steel products and projects advancing to higher levels of engineering, fabrication and construction precision, and further implementing the widest range of pre-engineered buildings in Jordan.
