who are we Oman Development Bank, the first leading institution in financing projects with added value in the national economy and projects that provide opportunities for self-employment, in addition to providing appropriate facilities and products for all micro, small, medium and large segments, and partnership projects. The Oman Development Bank was an extension of the Oman Development Bank established in 1976 and the Oman Agricultural and Fisheries Bank established in 1981. It was established by Royal Decree No. 18/97 establishing the Oman Development Bank and undertaking the terms of reference of the two previous banks. The bank works to finance various sectors in the Sultanate, such as agriculture, fishing, livestock, industry, tourism, education, health and information technology. The bank has also added other financing areas such as logistics, the supply and installation sector, mining and quarrying, and light installation work. This is in line with the development plans in the Sultanate and contributing to the realization of Oman Vision 2040. The Oman Development Bank seeks to improve its services provided to entrepreneurs and work to increase and develop them in line with the needs of development projects and government directions in developing the national economy.
